This bed is modified from plans made available by Jen Woodhouse. We originally made it for own use once our oldest moved out of his crib to make it available for our youngest. Since we made this first bed, we have been asked by family, friends, and even random store associates wondering what we are building next, to make one for them. It’s a heavy, sturdy bed made from pine and stained in a random pattern. It can be made in twin, full, queen, and king sizes. There is no NEED to have a box spring with this bed frame, as there are wooden slats to hold the mattress. We can also just make the headboard if a full surround isn’t something you want.
