Product Description
This chair was a special project I decided to test out around Christmas. I had seen all of these DIY plans for turning pallets into various things but I hadn’t seen one for Adirondack chairs. So I decided to figure it out. Each chair is made up of about two pallets based on the type of pallets used. They are incredibly sturdy since they are made from a tool that is used to carries hundreds and even thousands of pounds. No only does the wood choice show their durability, the wood dimension does as well. Most commercially available Adirondack’s structures are made with thinner pieces of wood such as 1″ x 2″ or 2″ x 2″. These are made with 2″ x 4″ and are incredibly sturdy and are held fast with constructions grade Torx screws. They can be finished or painted to suit your style. The ones pictured are treated with a combination of oils to remain water resistant.
