(This silhouette is made to order. By using salvaged wood, each of my pieces have their own unique character. Therefore your actual Michigan silhouette will not look exactly like this.)

This cut-out of the State of Michigan was inspired by the extremes found here. Bitter cold in winter, hot and muggy in summer. Vast and beautiful farm fields juxtaposed with the art and culture of the growing cities. Future and history.

The red of the piece is hard for my camera to capture correctly. It’s a barn red, while the blues range from a green-blue to purple-blue.

The board used in this piece are primarily reclaimed. They’ve all had some history of their own. I’ve cut, painted stained sealed and assembled this baby from start to finish. It comes ready to hang proudly in your favorite space.

It measures roughly 22 inches tall by 21.5 inches wide, and is 1.5″ thick. It’s a heavy beast, weighing in at just over 10.5 pounds.
